Happy Thanksgiving to my American Friends!

How can you be thankful is a question to ask yourself not just today but every day?

When you think of what you are thankful for, it is easy for you to think of all the good and wonderful aspects of your life. But there are the not so great or troublesome parts of our life that we have not been thankful for.

I know for many people being thankful for the not so enjoyable moments is hard to even think about. How can we be thankful for that? This was something that I used to struggle to understand.

Did you now that thankfulness or you can call it grateful, connects us to receiving more abundance and attracting more into our life of what we do want? Having a thankful mind opens us up for more.

Think about it; how do you feel when you are thankful? For me, I feel light and open, so how can I not end up seeing more and receiving more when I am thinking like this.

Now think about how you feel when you are angry, frustrated, hurt or even disappointed and thinking there is no way I can be thankful for this situation? If you are anything like me, I am shut down, closed to anything other options, so in those moments; I could miss out on opportunities that might come my way to make it better, to resolve it or to learn from what happened. 

So some of your most valuable possibilities are in the not so great moments in your life.

So ask yourself? How can I be thankful for this?

When you come from this place, you will deepen your understanding of the situation so that you can be open to what it may be teaching. By doing this, you will discover new ways to transform the problem.

When you are thankful for everything and anything in your life, you’ll find that you will have more happiness and fulfillment.

So in those moments of thinking, you messed up on your eating plan instead of beating up on yourself can you be grateful for it happening? When you can come from a place of I am thankful instead of shaming, that is when you will be open to learning what to do differently next time.

Our minds only give us what we are focusing on! So when you focus on the negative and it being wrong and bad, that is all you will see.

So are you ready to see what you can have instead of what you can’t have in your life?

Be thankful for it all, no matter what you have.  Yes, you will have resistance to doing this in the beginning, but give it and try and see what happens!

I have an amazing life, not because things are perfect but because I am open to learning and growing from whatever happens and from that place, so many positive things have happened!

You are worth it!
