In the last couple of episodes, I spoke about how important it is to be aware of what you are thinking and feeling; today, I’m talking about building awareness around: Why you’re eating, How hungry you really are, and How to stop at satisfied, so you stop the overeating.
I’ll introduce you to one of the basic weight loss tools I use with my clients that have them not only losing weight but keeping it off without restriction or deprivation or counting calories.
The hunger scale will help you to get back in touch with what your body is telling you when it comes to your physical hunger and satisfaction signals. When you eat only what your body needs for fuel and stop at enough, you lose weight for good.
Becoming aware of eating only when your body needs fuel and stopping at enough is what the diets don’t teach you. But, when you eat using the hunger scale, you will lose weight for good. And the good thing is you can take this anywhere with you… even to work!
